Early 60's, feel like 40, running alone at dawn along the beach is my church, married to a spectacular man who inspires me to be a better person, 1 daughter, also a hero to me b/c of her courage in facing life with a chronic illness. I sometimes feel the world is losing the battle with humanity, then pull myself up and am thankful for each sunrise and sunset, and the chance to feel happy and do something meaningful to show gratitude. Retired early due to illness, was paralegal for many years and then for the last 15 was a Realtor working primarily with 1st-time home buyers. Many remain personal friends and opened my life to wonderful experiences and new ideas.

On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:
people who like to run, people who believe one person can make a difference, vegans, animal rights activists, human rights activists--that is, everyone who believes that each person is entitled to his/her own beliefs, sexual orientation, politics, way of life, people who believe in the Constitution and separation of church and state, people who believe we can end hunger and suffering in our life time if we put aside our differences and embrace our common humanity.
